Pathways That Change Your Life

I love spring time!  I get excited when I see the birds building nests and even yesterday I noticed bees, so early, buzzing around the blooms on my weeping cherry trees.  I also begin to think about pathways I want to redesign just because I need the change.

In a garden pathways draw people in as well as lead them through the garden.  I like my pathways to invite visitors to explore.  For example, curves in a path that disappear around a corner make visitors, which includes you, yearn for what is around that curve.  Even for yourself, new visitors. birds, bees, butterflies and more from nature show up to surprise you.

Now, if that path leads to other thoughtfully designed paths, your garden will become a coherent whole and at the same time, offering intrigue, surprise, movement, variety and ever changing perspectives.  Your home pathways should do the same.

Pathways can also be a way to solve a plethora of design problems.  So like garden pathways, we have many in our own lives that we traverse daily in our homes and in our minds.  We can redesign them.  Redesigned pathways can lead us to wonderful experiences.  So don’t let this redesign put obstacles and challenges in front of your vision preventing you from seeing the curve ahead.  Some of us stumble and struggle to find our way many times.  Just remember you have the power to change direction of your pathways by incorporating symbols along your home pathways to remind you where you of all the wonderful surprises that await you a round the corner.

Using feng shui as a tool, scope your home environment to identify what obstacles confront you as you walk the pathways through your home.  Are the walls dirty with finger prints?  Do obstacles prevent you from opening doors all the way?  What symbols hang on your walls that send negative messages to your subconscious?

It’s that time of year to create your healing feng shui garden both inside and out.  Give your vision a makeover by changing the pathways in your home, your garden and your mind. Pathways change your life because they show you the way to go.  If you don’t like where you are in your life right now, or don’t see the future you are seeking, then take another path.  Make that path cheer you on as you walk it.  Change what you see and experience and the Universe will match it!
